Good morning and Happy Easter! 🙂 This weekend has been beautiful! Finally, an Easter Sunday where it’s not supposed to rain! And just because I said that, watch it rain….
Every Easter my mom and I set a day aside and become our own little chocolatiers. It’s an all day project and we have so much fun with it. We make our own little turtles, truffles, almond joys, REESE’S ❤ Ah, it’s all so perfect when I get to celebrate the rising King and be around dark chocolate at. the. same. time.

To avoid our bodies shutting down on us, we box up the chocolates and send them off as gifts. It’s really for the best. But we make sure to leave some left over for us 🙂

We normally don’t have an exact plan on what we want to make; we just make sure we have the main ingredient and let our imagination and stomachs run wild.
My boyfriend and I also made a point to dye some Easter eggs 😉 I’m 22 and love tradition ok? Don’t judge! We usually start out attempting to be elaborate with decorating our eggs, but by the second or third one we realize we will never be Pinterest so we resort to childish scribbles and designs. And look! A simple yet beautiful little reminder in our egg carton ❤
After what seemed like a lifetime spent in the kitchen, we decided to get out and enjoy the natural beauty that God provides us with each and every day. Nature is our favorite way to appreciate all the little things that we have in our life, reminding us to never take anything for granted.
I hope everyone enjoys their Easter and never forget what Jesus did for us so that we can be promised eternal life ❤
